A Day Out in Shoreditch
On Sunday, I met up with some of my fantastic uni friends, Lucy, Hannah, Eleanor and Jack, for a catch up in London. We headed to Shoreditch, an area of London I've rarely been to, in search of good food and drinks for a chill Sunday catch up.
(Shout out to Eleanor for finding all of the places we went to)
Firstly, we all met in a cute little Korean restaurant called On The Bab. Here we all got various bits to eat, and I got these delicious chicken gyozas.
A really lovely spot to start nattering and catching up!

Then we went on to Boxpark. This is a huge shipping container converted into a mini mall with shops, restaurants and bars. It's very trendy and seems to really fit into the Shoreditch/Hackney vibe. I could spend quite a while just wandering in and out of these tiny stores and admiring the surrounding street art.
As we went up to the roof of Boxpark, we found the main bar and food area. We sat here for a couple of hours enjoying some drinks and food. I got pork belly and rice from a place called Rainbo, which was sooo delicious. The choice of food up there was huge, from Asian to Greek to a massive slice of pizza!
On the way out of Boxpark, we couldn't resist a donut from Dum Dum Donutterie (with the option of lemon meringue, how could you?)
Our last stop was a Brazlian style bar called Barrio. As you walk in, you're hit in the face with bright and colourful Latin decor. This was the perfect spot to grab a cocktail and end our day hanging out in one of the coolest places in London!
Can't wait to see you guys again soon,
Shepp x
